ARPEC Admissions Test

Description

Strong English comprehension and mathematics skills are essential for success in the HVAC/R and pipefitting trades. These foundational abilities enable apprentices to: 

• Read and understand technical manuals, safety guidelines, and training materials. 
• Perform accurate calculations for system design, load sizing, and troubleshooting. 
• Communicate effectively with instructors, coworkers, and supervisors on the job.

Although ARPEC provides thorough technical training, a solid base in English and math (including basic geometry) enables students to learn faster, work safely, and progress more successfully in the program.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
📌 Minimum required scores to remain eligible to advance in the admissions process, applicants must achieve the following scores: To remain eligible to advance in the admissions process, applicants must achieve the following scores:  

• Mathematics Exam: 750 or higher 
• English Comprehension Exam: 650 or higher

➡️ Admissions Test registration is now open. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is highly recommended.
