Description: This class provides an overview of the different types of boilers and their functionality. Students will learn to identify all the parts of a boiler and their safety control devices and will be able to recognize potential safety risks and warnings signs of a malfunctioning boiler while in operation. Students will also learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot common issues. Attendees will learn proper piping arrangement for boilers. Students will have the opportunity to practice handling a variety of troubleshooting scenarios during shop time.

You will receive your certificate and credit upon successful completion of the course. No-Show/Cancellations Policy: Please be aware that cancellations made less than two days before the class begins, or failure to attend, will result in a $50.00 fee. ARPEC’s training, funded via the labor contract’s hourly contribution, requires no registration fee or deposit. However, if you cancel within two days before the start of the class, or do not attend the class in full, you will be charged $50.00. If that occurs, that invoice must be paid in full before you can register for future classes. As an employee benefit trust, ARPEC is legally required to be a good steward of the trust's assets.
