Description: Changes in technology in the HVAC industry have led to increasing prevalence of the us of VDFs in both residential and commercial applications. Upon completion of this class, students will be able to confidently diagnose and troubleshoot VDFs and conduct startup and commissioning of new VDFs. Discussion will include and overview of the operation of each component and subcomponent of the VFD. Students will learn how a VFD functions and understand the wiring and programing of a VFD, including practice performing VFD startup, programming, and wiring during shop time.

You will receive your certificate and credit upon successful completion of the course. No-Show/Cancellations Policy: Please be aware that cancellations made less than two days before the class begins, or failure to attend, will result in a $50.00 fee. ARPEC’s training, funded via the labor contract’s hourly contribution, requires no registration fee or deposit. However, if you cancel within two days before the start of the class, or do not attend the class in full, you will be charged $50.00.
