Description: This course shows you how to solve over 20 common service faults associated with a typical residential gas boiler including circulator, burner and electrical problems.
Objectives: Upon completion of this class, students will:
- Recognize potential faults in the major components of a gas boiler system
- Diagnose common fault scenarios occurring in the switches and relays of a gas boiler system
- Identify faults involving the service switch of a gas boiler system
- Diagnose air in a radiator for a gas boiler system

Registration closes: Wednesday, June 3, 2026, or upon reaching max class size of 13. Attendance Policy: Registrants will receive login information on Monday, June 8, 2026, and will have until Friday, June 12, 2026, to complete the class. Registrants will be required to complete 12 modules and the assessment simulations to receive credit. No-Show/Cancellations Policy: Please be aware that cancellations made less than two days before the class begins, or failure to attend, will result in a $50.00 fee. ARPEC’s training, funded via the labor contract’s hourly contribution, requires no registration fee or deposit. However, if you cancel within two days before the start of the class, or do not attend the class in full, you will be charged $50.00. If that occurs, that invoice must be paid in full before you can register for future classes. As an employee benefit trust, ARPEC is legally required to be a good steward of the trust's assets.
